The TEAMPACK bottom-feed pillow packaging machine with box motion and 3-axis servo control is a custom-engineered solution for bakery, food, pharmaceutical, and household goods industries. It is designed to handle product sizes that standard pillow pack machines cannot. With a belt-type feeder conveyor, it is particularly suited for packaging heavy or bulky items with stability and precision.

3-Axis Servo System for Full Automation

Conventional pillow pack machines rely on manual adjustments for the feeder, center seal, and end seal—resulting in time-consuming setup, frequent errors, and significant film waste.

TEAMPACK’s pillow packaging machine integrates advanced hardware and software to deliver real-time, high-precision control. It rapidly converts sensor input and film measurements into actionable data, enabling seamless synchronization across all components. Digital signals from each sensor and line are processed through correction algorithms and feedback loops, ensuring accurate monitoring and responsive control of film length, sealing, and cutting operations — even in variable production environments.

Intuitive Control Box

The control box is designed for centralized, user-friendly operation. Featuring a large touchscreen, temperature control panel, and action switches, the interface allows operators to monitor all processes in real time with clarity and ease. The power switch has a clearly defined On/Off display with indicator lights, ensuring straightforward and safe operation.

The TEAMPACK pillow packaging machine offers fully customizable control of all machine operations to suit on-site production requirements. The PLC system enables seamless integration with peripheral devices and interlocks. Digital signals from each sensor and operational unit are processed in real time, allowing the high-performance CPU and central controller to execute independent commands and monitor all machine functions with ultra-fast, high-precision responsiveness.

Electronic I-Mark Positioning

Conventional machines require manual adjustment of three axes to align the I-Mark and product position, often resulting in time-consuming setup and excess film waste. The TPBMA-SS101D3SV allows operators to simply input the desired value—automatically adjusting the position for immediate and precise cutting, with no manual intervention or film loss.

With the film positioned at the bottom, operators can replace it easily without lifting. The open-frame structure allows direct visual alignment of the I-Mark as the film moves. A sturdy bracket secures the film roll, and a fine-adjustment handle enables quick and precise positioning—even during production.

Conveyor line for safely feeding bulky products

The feeder conveyor, which transports products to the packaging section, can be custom-built with a belt-type system for heavier or bulkier items that are unsuitable for standard pillow pack conveyors. A robust stainless steel former maintains proper film tension at both edges, ensuring clean, precise sealing lines. The size of the former can be adjusted according to the product dimensions. Additionally, a sensor between the conveyor and former detects product positioning and controls feeding to the center sealer accordingly.

Belt-Type Extended Conveyor

The feeder conveyor can be custom-built in various configurations based on the product being packaged. The TPBMB-201D3SV model features a belt-type conveyor specifically designed to handle large and bulky items efficiently.

Sub Controller

The feeder conveyor is equipped with run, stop, and emergency stop switches, allowing operators to control the main pillow packaging machine directly from the conveyor. This enables safe and efficient operation without having to move to the main control panel, even while feeding products into the system.

SICK Detection Sensor

This sensor detects when a product is entering the center sealer and controls conveyor operation accordingly. It uses diffuse-reflective photoelectric technology to identify objects based on light reflection—offering fast and precise response. For dark-colored products that absorb light, a separate color sensor is installed for accurate detection.

PE Material

Polyethylene (PE) is a thermoplastic resin with high impact strength at low temperatures. Its low moisture absorption, excellent chemical resistance, and corrosion resistance make it ideal for dry ice packaging. TEAMPACK offers custom-built conveyors using PE material specifically designed for dry ice handling environments.

Fresh Food Packaging

These systems prioritize temperature, humidity, and hygiene control, using carefully selected materials to meet food safety standards. Digital temperature controller

The system features a digital temperature controller that allows users to set and maintain optimal temperatures in real time, ensuring high-quality film sealing. Temperatures for the sealing roller and cutting blade can be adjusted independently, based on the specific film and product being used. With simple up/down controls, each zone can be precisely set, and the controller maintains the target temperature consistently. Dedicated ON/OFF switches for each heater allow independent operation of the sealing and cutting units as needed.

Acrylic Shield

High-Visibility Acrylic Safety Shield

Acrylic offers excellent visibility with a light transmittance of approximately 92%, allowing operators to clearly monitor machine operation. Its low thermal conductivity provides effective heat insulation around high-temperature cutter-sealer areas. Despite being lightweight, acrylic is highly impact-resistant, dimensionally stable, and resistant to UV exposure and chemicals—ensuring long-term durability without yellowing or degradation.
